For Hollywood Insider’s series known as “Trailers With A Scoop Of Trivia”, we bring to you The Lion King which releases on July 19, 2019.

The Lion King Trivia –

1. Some of the first films to be released on Disney+ will be The Lion King (2019), Toy Story 4 (2019) and Frozen II (2019).
2. Seth Rogen (Pumbaa) and Billy Eichner (Timon) voiced and recorded their lines together, which had also been done by Nathan Lane and Ernie Sabella who were Timon and Pumbaa respectively, in the original 1994 animated film, as well as in its direct-to-video/DVD sequel and midquel.
3. In 2019, Aladdin reboot was followed by The Lion King. In the same way, Disney’s Aladdin was released before Disney’s The Lion King, in 1992 and 1994 respectively.
4. James Earl Jones, Hans Zimmer, Elton John, and Tim Rice are the only ones that worked on the original animated film and will be reviving their respective roles, as the voice of Mufasa, the composer of the film, and songwriters.
5. This is Jon Favreau’s 2nd Disney remake based on a Disney Animation, with The Jungle Book being the first one and The Lion King being the second one. He is the first person to direct two Disney remakes.
