Paris’s Luxury Scene – Hotel Vernet at Champs-Élysées Is Full of Experiences as Luxurious as They Are Unique

Hotel Vernet is a beautiful five-star hotel located in the heart of Paris, France. It’s a boutique hotel that exists near the Champy-Elysèes District. Over a hundred-years old, the building that houses Vernet has been around for a long time, furbished and refurbished with many incredible design changes. Like most luxury hotels, it has plenty of wonderful amenities. All types of rooms, suites, and apartments come with free wifi, a minibar, 24-hour room service, air-conditioning, a safety deposit box, a smartphone jack connection, flat-screen televisions, and a USB port.

However, there are some unique things that make Vernet a must-stay location: things that many people might not know about at first glance, and that Vernet is very proud to claim as part of its brand. The luxury hotel promises a commitment to environmental concerns, a plethora of things offered around its incredible location, and the luxurious design of the rooms.

Environmental Concerns

Hotel Vernet is happy to advertise its dedication to helping preserve the natural world. They’ve taken many eco-friendly measures for a while now, as they realize how much bigger the impact of a company’s policies is on the environment compared to one person’s actions. Some of these measures reflect the enormity of the hotel’s environmental influence. One such initiative that the hotel surprisingly goes out of its way to support is Un Toit Pour Les Abeilles, or A Hive to Save the Bees. Vernet has partnered with this organization in order to protect and foster bee colonies. Not only does this send a positive message that the hotel would make itself a part of activism unrelated to the customer service industry, it also doesn’t directly affect the guests’ quality of stay.

Some of their measures are lots of smaller things that accumulate over time, ultimately making a big impact anyway. Most of these are more direct, and have to do with the various amenities they offer. For instance, their breakfast food is organically grown, and their restaurant Le V has food that is locally grown. Vernet’s linens are made from bamboo fiber, and the organization Sapocycle helps the hotel recycle soap and waste products. Taking care of the environment by directly choosing which materials to use and the number of resources the hotel uses while also providing a quality stay at the place is incredibly impressive. There are plenty of reviews and discussions about how great the hotel is to this day, proving these additions have only improved the already spectacular hotel.

Hotel Vernet – Luxury Rooms

Firstly, in a move to reflect the beloved Parisian architecture of the past, the hotel houses itself in a building that is very much Haussmann-esque: efficient for transportation, orderly, and full of open spaces and natural light. The places to stay within the building of Vernet echo a similar sentiment. Designed by brilliant French architect François Champsar, he also had an idea that would pay tribute to Parisian artistry. To start, Champsaur designed areas with clean limestone, Carrara marble wood, and mosaic floors. For suites specifically, he also added beautiful black ironwork balconies.

Speaking of suites and room-specific design quirks, there are four different places guests can stay. There are rooms, suites, family suites, and apartments. These rooms have the same amount of baseline amenities. However, they’re not without their differences. While there are Superior Rooms, Deluxe Rooms, and Prestige rooms, only the second two can be physically connected upon request. Compared to the other two rooms, Prestige Rooms are enormous (419 by 452 square meters), as they’re meant for much longer stays. Both Executive Suites and Prestige Suites come with separate living spaces. In addition to the lavish extra amenities that they share, some of the Prestige Suites offer their own terraces and ironwork balconies. Family Suites are twice the size of these suites, as they combine a Superior Room and an Executive Suite to create an amazingly spacious area for up to six people. The Vernet Apartments are also around the same size, as they can house up to five people. Unlike the suites and rooms, the apartments have a useful kitchenette and a majestic courtside view of Hotel Vernet. They come ready with wooden floors, a bottle of champagne, coffee and tea facilities, and a comfortable sofa bed that fits two people. With as many styles of rooms with multiple levels of luxurious services as Hotel Vernet has, you’re destined to find something with which you’ll fall in love.

Locations

Among many terrific qualities the hotel possesses, the best quality might just be the location. Paris is obviously full of historical landmarks and gorgeous architecture, but I didn’t realize just how many there were in immediate walking distance of Vernet. While there’s no such thing as a perfect area, Hotel Vernet makes a case that there just might be one after all. The Quai Branly Museum, Concorde Square, the Golden Triangle, the Eiffel Tower, and even the Louvre are all a mere 15 minutes by foot or by metro. You’ll find all kinds of wonderful art and nature filled with centuries-old stories and experiences all around you.

The best part about this feature? The hotel knows this, and actively encourages guests to explore the wonderful sites around them. The “Clefs d’Or Concierges” at the hotel are insiders to the area, and act as guides for the local area. The hotel makes it clear that you can reach out to them any time for further information about what’s around.

Hotel Vernet is full of joy and comfort that many luxury hotels bring and make standard, but it’s so much more than that. It includes policies that are environmentally friendly, it’s supportive of local infrastructure, and it encourages its guests to appreciate what’s around them by directly providing them with resources. For a luxury hotel with many accommodations to offer, the things previously mentioned put it above the rest. They contribute to the hotel’s already unique experience, making it necessary to visit.

An excerpt from the love letter: The Hollywood Insider’s CEO/editor-in-chief Pritan Ambroase affirms, We have the space and time for all your stories, no matter who/what/where you are. Media/Cinema/TV have a responsibility to better the world and The Hollywood Insider will continue to do so. Talent, diversity and authenticity matter in Cinema/TV, media and storytelling. In fact, I reckon that we should announce “talent-diversity-authenticity-storytelling-Cinema-Oscars-Academy-Awards” as synonyms of each other. We show respect to talent and stories regardless of their skin color, race, gender, sexuality, religion, nationality, etc., thus allowing authenticity into this system just by something as simple as accepting and showing respect to the human species’ factual diversity. We become greater just by respecting and appreciating talent in all its shapes, sizes, and forms. Award winners, which includes nominees, must be chosen on the greatness of their talent ALONE.

I am sure I am speaking for a multitude of Cinema lovers all over the world when I speak of the following sentiments that this medium of art has blessed me with. Cinema taught me about our world, at times in English and at times through the beautiful one-inch bar of subtitles. I learned from the stories in the global movies that we are all alike across all borders. Remember that one of the best symbols of many great civilizations and their prosperity has been the art they have left behind. This art can be in the form of paintings, sculptures, architecture, writings, inventions, etc. For our modern society, Cinema happens to be one of them. Cinema is more than just a form of entertainment, it is an integral part of society. I love the world uniting, be it for Cinema, TV, media, art, fashion, sport, etc. Please keep this going full speed.
